Turin + Team Schwarz

TURIN, ITALY
MILAN, ITALY
ZÜRICH, SWITZERLAND

15.06.2019 – 21.06.2019

Is it too cheesy to say that Rebekah and Ryan’s visit was a dream come true? Don’t care, it’s true. We have been plotting for years now as to how to make this happen (leaving behind a 1 and 2 year old plus incredibly busy teacher schedules is no easy task). We made the most of our week with them here. Lots of exploring around Zürich, a trip to a Benedictine Abbey in Einsiedeln (south of Zürich), and a quick trip through Northern Italy to Turin and Milan. Did Parker’s wallet get lost/stolen? Sure. Did our train have a broken AC? Yup. Did we have the best best time? Obviously.

The boys loved getting to play lots of board games together while the girls enjoyed lots of wine and endless uninterrupted hours of chatting. And Evelyn was one pampered baby getting lots of time with her godparents. It was really special to get to show Team Schwarz our home and around our town.

Top of the Mole Antonelliana, apparently it was supposed to be a synagogue and then it was too costly so the city took it over and it’s a cinema museum. So. Random. But lovely views!
