We recently celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary by visiting one of our favourite cities and seeing one of Rachel’s favourite bands, The Killers. No worries, Amsterdam is still SO cute. Only bummer… we did not anticipate it being so cold! They are calling this weather “The Siberian Bear” because it’s all blowing in from the East. By the time we left, the canals were starting to freeze over and locals were ice skating. We took plenty of breaks in cafes and bars and restaurants and shops to warm up. We visited a few museums, ate some delicious food, and enjoyed a very chill (ha) getaway. Not pictured: a visit to the Van Gogh Museum where we got the news our new niece had been born!
