Three weeks back in the mid-west means three weeks packed with seeing our wonderful friends and family. It is never easy to say goodbye but we are truly overwhelmed with love and support. Thank you thank you!
The Weber Family (with Baby Schwarz on the way!)
The Lake Gang was reunited at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri for a long weekend.
The soundtrack to our life during this time, listened for countless hours on roadtrips.
Rachel “helping” Jeff work on his 1915 Indian. Birkenstocks and dress are not the most appropriate garage attire.
Overlooking the Konza Prairie Preserve in Manhattan, Kansas (This is one of Rachel’s favourite places in the entire world and we got engaged not far from here)
It’s not a visit to MHK without stopping at Taco Lucha, a favourite restaurant and bar
Reunited with college sorority roommates and dear friends [at the Beach Art Museum on Kansas State University campus]
Seriously stoked to see old friends
We had a very successful visit to Aggieville.
Parker and his dog, Hugo, getting some quality time together
Rachel added a few more states to our travel list.
Sioux City, Iowa to celebrate and remember the life of Rachel’s Godfather
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Visiting Grandma and Grandpa Delperdang at Assumption Cemetery in Merrill, Iowa. Such a beautiful place to be laid to rest.
Parker’s Grandmother, Lucy, treated us to a fun show at Music Theater of Wichita
Love and miss these people
Loading up the last bit of our earthly belongings to fly to Zürich. A special thanks to Jeff and Cyndi (Parker’s parents) for graciously allowing us to store some special items (not going to Zürich) in their home.
Goodbye hugs at ICT before an hour long process of checking five large pieces of luggage.
A final wheat beer to toast a great visit to Kansas.
