American Autumn

My sister and brother-in-law just HAD to give birth to the sweetest little girl ever at the end of August. After over two months of waiting (not so patiently) I finally got to meet Genevieve! My mom watches Baby G in the mornings while my sister is at work so it was a perfect opportunity to come and help take care of her. This much needed baby and family time came after a long weekend in Kansas City. It’s always such a treat to get time with friends! The unseasonably warm weather allowed us to do much exploring and eating and drinking across the city.

During this time, Parker spent two weeks in San Francisco for work. He had a great time visiting friends and eating at all of our favourite restaurants. He flew back to Wichita for another week of family time. And then another week of family time after a passport mix up… Alls well that ends well and it was a great trip for the both of us.

As always, we are overwhelmed by all of the wonderful people in our lives. Thank you to all of our friends and family for the opportunity to spend time together. For those we did not get to see, we’ll catch you next time. Love to you all.
