Frohe Weihnachten

23.12.2016 – 26.12.2016

Parker’s parents, Jeff and Cyndi Roth, joined us for a Swiss Christmas this year. It was a treat to have visitors from back home. We had to brush up on our tour-guide skills in order to show these two around. It was a very special first Christmas in our new home. We have much to be thankful for during this joyous season of Christmas.

Finally, we went for a super traditional Swiss meal for our Christmas dinner: Zürcher Geschnetzeltes with rösti (Sliced veal and mushrooms in a cream sauce served over a special Swiss hashbrowns)

–An Afternoon in Luzern–

Lucerne is a short hour train ride away from Zürich. We spent an afternoon exploring this beautiful city and the Swiss Transportation Museum located here.

This museum boasts trains, planes, boats, cars, and more! We felt it was well worth a visit.
