I want to go everywhere, see everything, meet everyone and eat every food. The world is a big place and we have to start somewhere. Switzerland’s location lends itself to easy travel throughout Europe. But where to go next? Often times, we throw a dart at the map. And by dart, I mean a search for the cheapest plane/train/bus tickets for a given weekend and away we go. In this way we found ourselves in the capital of Belgium. We tried a number of delicious beers, ate our moules et frites and (spectacular) waffles, learned about Belgium’s history and enjoyed watching the world go by. Brussels didn’t make its way on to the “greatest hits of Europe” for us but we had a fun time adding another country to our log. We need to go back so we can explore the city of Brussels more (there is never enough time!) and the surrounding areas including the lovely Antwerp and Ghent. It was also a reminder that we really need to learn some more French. Someday! After all, the world is a very big place.

They are 🙂
Parker is the primary photographer when we travel and he does a nice job! It was rainy and overcast for most of the trip so they are a little dark but that’s okay! Thanks for following us along!
