New York City

NEW YORK CITY

Bagels, Broadway, Brooklyn oh my! Parker had been to NYC with his parents years ago, but this was my first visit. I was amazed by how BIG it all was – far larger than I even expected. This trip has been in the works for awhile as a belated birthday trip for Parker’s mom. We were happy to round out our December visit to Kansas with a long weekend in New York. Sickness followed us from Kansas, but we still did plenty of adventuring. We visited the beautiful Guggenheim, saw the musical, Anastasia, ate delicious foods, checked out several Christmas markets, explored the Williamsburg neighbourhood of Brooklyn, and more! It snowed as we walked through Central Park, so beautiful and so chilly. There is so much left for us to see and do (and eat!) and we look forward to returning for future trips.

BROOKLYN

We spent our last day in town exploring Brooklyn. Parker and I so enjoyed this interesting, beautiful and oh so hipsterlicious borough.
